Last night was a very clear night. I stood outside and looked at the stars and after marveling at the number of stars I could see from my back yard, I thought, “I really, REALLY want a telescope.”

My reaction was nothing compared to this:

WHAT DOES IT MEAN??

…I hate hippies.

Dear Crying Hippie:

“It” means that there are water drops in the air and the sunlight is shining at a low altitude angle. Also, the “double rainbow” that has caused you to freak out is a supernumerary rainbow, an indication of the wave nature of light. Yes, they are cool. You, however, are not.

STOP CRYING.

No love,

Me.

LOL!

No, literally–I laughed out loud. And then I cried. And then I asked, “What does it meeeean??”
