…so says idiot congressman Steve King.
Fig. 1: Rep. Steve King, Racial Expert
According to the Associated Press, King made comments about both Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder (he’s also black! Panic now!) on a radio talk show hosted by that liberal G. Gordon Liddy:
“I’m offended by Eric Holder and the president also, their posture,” King said. “It looks like Eric Holder said that white people in America are cowards when it comes to race.”
King continued: “The president has demonstrated that he has a default mechanism in him that breaks down the side of race on the side that favors the black person in the case of professor Gates and officer Crowley.”
Gee, I wish I had known that. I have a lot of money in student loans I’d like to have forgiven, plus I’d like a brand-spanking new Acura RL with satellite-linked navigation system. I just need to call up my homey Barack Obama and, since he “favors the black person,” my wishes should be made reality!
Fig. 2: Pimp my ride, Obama! You’re my only hope!
But wait…King’s going on about all that hoo-rah that happened last freakin’ year around Henry Louis Gates getting arrested? King’s a little late to this race-fest, isn’t he? I mean, the rest of us are a little concerned with this little oil spill that’s making the wetlands and beaches and what not a little less than inviting this summer. Oh, and the economy’s got a touch of the sniffles. And everyone else around the world seems to be acting a little less than friendly with each other, as evidenced here, and here, and definitely here. But no, King wants to dredge up something that happened last year—-in the world of the 24-hour news cycle, that might as well be ten years ago. Frankly, nobody gives a flying rat’s ass about either Henry Louis Gates or the cop who arrested him. We’ve all pretty much got other shit going on.
But since King wants to talk about race, congressman King, let’s do. Let’s ask him a couple of questions about why he’s so up in arms about virtually ANYTHING President Obama does and why his default criticism about him revolves around race. Is it that that’s all he sees when Obama comments on, well, anything? It is curious that, of all the criticisms one could make about Obama, the only ones he’s capable of are little more than race-baiting bits of foolishness that indicate a person possessed of small mind.
In short, King is so smitten with Obama Derangement Syndrome that he can’t think straight.
